Welcome to Olney Infant Academy!

I hope you enjoy visiting our website, as we’re all really proud of our school which is rated as “Outstanding” by Ofsted in every respect. We have very high standards of achievement and a creative and exciting curriculum. Our children are polite, happy and well-behaved and unsurprisingly we have the lowest staff turnover of any school in Milton Keynes.
We were one of the first primary schools to convert to Academy status, in June 2011. This gives us freedom from Local Authority control, alongside many other freedoms, and the money previously spent by the Local Authority on our behalf is now spent directly on raising standards in our school. We continue to serve the people of Olney and the surrounding area as our priority, though our popularity means we receive applications from parents living up to twenty miles away. We are proud of our strong links with all sections of our local community. We aim to provide a high quality education within a secure and caring environment. We have excellent facilities which only a school of this size can provide, including a fabulous computer suite, a multi-purpose room with cooking facilities, a special outdoor activity area for Reception children, a wildlife area and pond and extensive fields and playgrounds. Coupled with our excellent staff and good staff/pupil ratio we believe that your child will get the best possible start to their education. The sea of happy children’s faces and the first-class results achieved are testimony to that; Ofsted reported in October 2011 that once again our standards of achievement in every subject are “significantly ahead of national expectations”. We like parents to play an active part in their child's learning and to involve themselves in all aspects of school life.
We are open from 7.45am every day, with our Breakfast Club, and stay open until 6pm with our after-school club. In addition we have extra-curricular after-school clubs including football coaching led by the MK Dons, tennis coaching, rugby coaching, French and Spanish lessons, Little Drama Stars and Smart Raspberry Cookery Club.
The very best way to find out about our school is to visit us while we are at work. If you would like to do so or require any further information please contact us. We are always proud to show people around the school!
